Father’s Day is June 16th. My dad passed away 7 years ago. I did make a few things for him for Father’s Day. I made him a framed picture with photos and drawings. It’s still hangs in the guest bedroom. I made a flip photo card that was actually pretty cool that he kept on his desk. And finally I crocheted a beautiful blanket for him called Let Freedom Ring, with star and stripes to honor his days as a United States Marine.
My husband, Donnie, father of our 4 kids, and Papa to our 4.5 grandchildren, is kind of hard when it comes to figuring out a crochet gift to make for him. He’s not a beanie or scarf or sweater guy. I have made him a pair of slippers which he loved! But I think I’ve found a few crochet patterns that would make great gifts for Father’s Day.
