My dad has been gone for over 9 years, and I still think of him almost every day. He was a father to two daughters, grandfather to six grandsons and one granddaughter, and when he passed, a great grandfather to three great grandchildren. He loved his family and was very proud of us all.

My dad, my sister, me and my mom – 1977

My mom, my son Matt, and my dad – 2008

I had made my dad some things for the many Father’s Days we celebrated together, and although Father’s Day is only a week away this year, I wanted to share some easy crochet projects that would make perfect Father’s Day gifts.

Crochet Baseball Pillow

Crochet Baseball Blanket

Crochet Hamburger Applique for Apron

Crochet Fish Pot Holder

Crochet Animal Pot Holders

Crochet Men’s Slippers

Crochet Men’s Neck Tie

Crochet Men’s Slipper Sox

Crochet Checkers Set

Crochet Golf Cap

This is one project I did make for my dad as a Father’s Day gift. I loved the Stars and Stripes in this “Let Freedom Ring” blanket.

I hope you can find something that will work for you! How do you celebrate Father’s Day? Whatever you do to honor the father’s in your family, have fun and enjoy the time you spend with them.
