4th of July is the perfect summer holiday. When I was a child (many decades ago) my dad would help me climb on top of our single story roof and we would watch the local fireworks displays going on all around us. Several years later, with a young family of my own, all of our neighbors would come together, creating our own little fireworks and sparklers show and the kids would have a blast. I would decorate for the 4th of July, not as extensively as other holidays like Halloween or Christmas, but I enjoyed displaying my patriotic side. Here are some links for crochet patterns to make for this holiday and a couple of links to decorate and have fun this 4th!

    Mindy, these are absolutely gorgeous

You really do have great talent in that blanket is absolutely amazing just gorgeous

The wraparound is called a yarn bomb around here!

When she was knitting Jeff helped Hannah put a yarn bomb up at Gill Colosseum way high in the scoreboard and someone came and took it down lol lol

Other than samantha and you’re beautiful, beautiful granddaughter what is the best thing about being in South Carolina especially where you live?

Thank you Liz for your sweet comments. We are temporarily in CA until January for Donnie’s job. SC is just so green. Trees everywhere, lots of water, slower pace and more relaxed lifestyle and much less expensive than CA. Very friendly people too.

The only item I have currently available is the hot pad. The wind spinner or yarn bomb 🥰and blanket were given as gifts so I don’t have those available at the moment, but could make more.
