I’ve been retired from teaching for 3 years now. Unbelievable! My teacher friends are returning to school today, and I am home working on my crochet projects. 😊I did always love getting ready for a new school year, organizing and decorating my classroom, filling in my new planner, and creating fun, interesting lessons. So in honor of all the teachers and students heading back to school, I have a few crochet project ideas that get an A+. 📚✏️📓

I LOVE these bookmarks! They are so easy to make and can be made any length, in any color. They are perfect for back to school. They make great gifts for teachers or for your book club friends.

This zippered crocheted pouch makes for a perfect pencil bag or makeup bag, or a place to organize all those little things you don’t want to just throw in your backpack (paper clips, binder clips, scotch tape, hole punch mini pencil sharpener).

If are really ambitious, here are some adorable crocheted backpack patterns that meet the grade.😎

Thanks for checking these patterns out. I appreciate your support and Happy New School Year! Enjoy!

September also makes me wonder… where did the time go? Thirty years teaching, and now 4 years retired. It does go by fast. Here’s a previous post on Back to School Crochet Projects. […]
